I was very skeptical about this. I hate anything near my ears but I took my time, getting my bearings and pressure correct.10 minutes later clean ears and I can hear more clearly.Just be aware you can go too far in if you don't pay attention.
This thing is worth every single penny! Picture quality is great and it was easy to set up. I was set up within 5 minutes of it arriving.I've been hearing a high pitched noise in my left ear and thought I had tinnitus. As you can see, there's a large ball of wax pushed right up against my ear drum, which was the cause of the issue. The other image is my right ear drum. Looks like it's perforated. I've suspected it for a while now but it's never healed. At least I know why I've been practically deaf for a while!!
Amazing! Been hearing a weird ‘plink’ type noise in my ear for a few months now, and W hen I used this I found an eyelash had embedded itself in my ear wax, pressed against my ear drum, and I think it was that causing the noise!I’ve been using ear plugs to sleep for years, because my husband snores and I need to drown it out. Wasn’t surprised when I discovered all that ear wax, but managed to get most of it out with the help of the camera and the little attachment.
Really useful for checking inside ear canal for wax etc, easy to set up, camera connected to iPhone via app and WiFi device provided without any problems, picture included is my left tympanic membrane. Have not tried to use it whilst clearing wax from ear canal as no wax present so cannot comment on usefulness of the tools provided. Pleasantly surprised how good and easy to use the camera actually is. Would recommend.
720p doesn't sound that good this days but it is enought in this case. Picture quality is decent when it is in focus which may be a bit tricky to get at first but once you get used to it, it's quite easily achievable.Supplied accessories as well as the device itself are of very high quality.Highly recommended.
My son has always suffered with very bad ear wax, very thick hard wax. We always felt that it affects his hearing. We have used the metal ear spoons, which have been good, but always been a struggle trying to hold a torch to shine in his ear whilst trying to be gentle when breaking up and removing the wax.I came across this otoscope by chance and thought I would give it a try. Honestly wish I had known about these before. Was a lot smaller than I had expected. Lots of different attachements, ear spoons for different ages, etc.Setting up the otoscope was easy enough, however with the app, I found it asked for a lot of permissions which I can't understand why they needed it. Connecting the otoscope with the app was simple. The ear spoons are made of plastic which are softer than the usual metals I normally use, but because you are not going in blind, you can actually get more wax out than normal. My son said it definitely felt more comfortable and preferred it.We are glad we bought this and would definitely recommend it to anyone else whose children suffer with bad ear wax.
I have had operations on my eardrums in the past and wanted to see what they looked like. Pretty scared, as it turns out. The otoscope was fairly easy to set up and has a very clear picture at the right distance away - you mustn't have it too close. This is a good thing, of course, when you're looking in ears. Very happy with it indeed.
This is a powerful little endoscope. You have 2 options to connect it . WiFi or direct to your phoneThe camera is very clear and the camera lights are bright. Also the earwax tools are very handy
Ever since I removed a small ball of earwax, I always wondered how my ear are doing in regards to earwax. It is known cotton buds, if used incorrectly, pushes the earwax back. This is perfect to see what the situation is like inside my ears. I was very impressed with the image quality. The otoscope is the perfect size (at least for me) to fit into my ear comfortably without causing damage or pain. At the time of using, my ears were very clean and no need to use any tools. Setup is easy. You can connect it directly into pc or android device directly, or via WiFi and software for iOS devices. The tip has a light which can be adjusted.I would like to add and stress to potential buyers. I am in two minds on using the tools. You must be confident and have stable hands to use them. Otherwise you can cause damage to your inner ear. Safest option, use the camera to see what the story is inside. The camera is very clear. Then get a professional to clean it. Or look for a safer tool to use. I still highly recommend this. It will help a lot.
My family love this product, we can easily install and have guidance book with it. The camera has good smooth safety device to avoid any injury. this product come with with a different types of tools, an ear spoon, protective sleeves and a cleaning cloth. product is very handy and also after check or clear wax, we can easily wash it and able to use for other family members.
I bought this to see what was going on with my ears, it was fiddle at first to operate but after a while it becomes easie , i just plug it into the pc and use the free camera software, it has a variable brightness control on the realy long lead ,Its about time there was something like this available to the public, other then relying on a doctor visit that can take anyware for 1 to 3 weeks. Just take a look at the before and after picsWell done Vitcoco for a wonderful product Especially to you Jason, and once again my sincere apology`shighly recommended
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Identified my suspected ruptured ear drum.I bought this otoscope because I had an accident with an ear bud. I pushed to far and felt a sharp pain. The pain didn't last long but I had a loud ringing in my ear and my hearing reduced from it.As I wasn't in any pain I didn't want to waste the doctors time.Well as you can see from the video and photo taken with otoscope, I have indeed ruptured my ear drum. (The black hole at the top).A subsequent doctor's appointment and I now have antibiotic drops. The Otoscope is very easy to setup with your mobile, just download the inskam app. Connect to the Otoscope by WiFi and it will be shown in the app.
I’m not actually sure why I purchased this item. I think I was prompted when I saw it, by the amount of times my children have stuck pegs or ball bearings in their nose or ears. I think of four times at least, plus the time we were swimming and course sand got into my youngest child’s ear and caused a terrible infection. My daughter was misdiagnosed three times till one day I was peering in her ear with a torch (she had complained for weeks about it) and I saw the grit in there! Off we went to a&e and they vacuumed her ears out and found several pieces of coarse sand inside - this was missed by my GP!Anyway, So here I am not the proud owner of an otoscope which projects the image by wifi onto my phone. I’ve been playing with it, it was a little tricky to get going, but it’s working perfectly good now. There are lots of little tools and attachmnets to go with it. And the whole thing zips into a little pouch. I am sure it will come in useful one day soon, in the mean time I have myself a little toy.
You really get to see great things. Easy to set up good picture.
Really easy to use. Images great plus you get some extra tools but that more for someone to use on you than on your own. I would be mindful of using it too long as the tip does warm up quickly. Overal quite happy
Any how , this is save me meny ear flush ,but carefull ear is very very sensitive.
The Time SISO software they instruct you to install is on Google Play but will not download (Samsung S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra and S6 all fail). You have to instead download "inskam", which will download and will install and run.
I usually need to clean up my ears atleast 4 or 5 times a day as it tends to be very waxy specially if im using my headphones. this one makes my life much easier and saved alot of time,.
For years I've been using cotton buds daily (yes I know) and I've been terrified of the horror stories of what I'll find inside my ears being obsessed with ear cleaning videos. I've always wanted to ask the doctors if my ears are clogged from the ear buds but don't want to waste their time having not had any issues.I saw a BuzzFeed video using a home camera and immediately followed the link to buy it on Amazon having been amazed how inexpensive they are.The camera was super easy to link up to my phone, just click the WiFi it creates. The picture was clear and you quickly get to grips with the orientation. It comes with 3 little spatulas you can clip onto the camera for extraction. Try it without these first so you don't poke your ear with the plastic. It would have been nice to have a silicone spatula as well which would be a little softer and less damaging if you accidentally get the wrong angle.I saw a review which recommended to Google images inside the ear first, in particular the ear drum so you know what to look for, definitely helped. The camera has a light so you can see but this does get a little hot after a while so be careful not to use too long.My only distress from this whole process was that after much anticipation ... I DIDNT HAVE ANY WAX TO EXTRACT! Both of my ears are as clean as a bone and I can clearly see my ear drum. This is a positive in that I don't have a bundle of old cotton pads clogging up my ear but really upsetting that I didn't get to perform my own wax extraction!Luckily for me I promptly gave the camera to the other half who had a TON of wax and let me watch him pick it all out of his ear slowly. If you've read this far chances are you are also one of these people who like watching pimple popping and ear extraction videos, all I can say is good luck and go slowly!!
Really good little gadget. My partner and I love it. Really clear image too.
Saw this on tik tok and had to get one, didn’t disappoint. Great to have a root around
It works really well and only takes a few seconds to connect up, I could see inside both my ears I can’t wait to see what else I can use it for!
Bought this for my husband who is constantly cleaning his ears. We loved it!
Product is very good good picture the amount of wax you can get out is unbelievable the only thing we have found is the battery doesn't last that long
I used this with my PC,easy, just plugs it into the USB port. I understand that it will also work with the smart phone, I haven't bothered with that. However VERY pleased with it. Good idea to check the orientation of the image before you get using it, makes the image much more understandable.
Confession: i love earbuds to clean my ear!Everyone has heard the stories thinking it will never happen to them? It happened to me.I suddenly had a terrible blockage and went deaf in that ear got the trust ear buds out. Nothing happened. Thinking it was wax i got the shower head out and tried to jet it out. Still nothing apart from a massive outer ear infection. It cleared and the fullness was still there. Not wanting to waste more doctors time in a worldwide pandemic i thought i would have a look using an otoscope. Well it was disgusting. Loads of slimy ‘stuff’ in my ear. I began pulling it out over the course of a couple of days using the scoops. I didn’t realise ears could hold so much stuff (mushed up cotton buds built up over years i can only assume) in them. Gunk gone, hearing restored and now i clean my ears using one of these instead of cotton buds!
Great quality camera and easy to set up
Brilliant scope easy to set up just download the app go to your phones wifi, turn on the app and see the wifi for the app, tap on it go back to the app press connect and get a shock or surprise when you see the picture.I used the silicone guard the first time till I became confident with the us I found my left ear was completely blocked with long hardened wax which I will try to soften with peroxide first. Probably wait until covid ends and see the Doc.But a great piece of kit.Barry
I got to say it's one of the best I've had . Easy to and setup, the picture quality is good, sheerness rare. And you haven't got cables all over the place
Very handy to have, the app was a bit fiddly to set up and get working but it wasnt too difficult. The picture is clear and you can adjust the focus when you need to, accessories are included, great quality.
I found the scope easy to assemble. I downloaded the app to my windows laptop and plugged in the USB. It worked instantly.
OK so its not brilliant but it is good enough. A lot better than i expected
Works well and image is clear, was easy to set up and use, battery life is really good and only takes about 30 mins to fully charge. Came with a lot of silicone ends to make it comfortable for your ears or nose if needed. Would recommend also if needed to use on your pets ears etc as its so small and safe ????
Amazing. My daughter suffers from ear wax and I kept cleaning her ears with a small hair clip to remove it snd a torch Now with this the live picture viewing it’s so easy can see clearly inside her ears and now I will take her to the doctor as I can see a huge block of dark wax blocking her ear canal.
Good little camera, works great if fully charged, fuzzy if not.If your picture quality is poor you might need to wipe the camera at intervals.
Better than I expected for the price
Very good quality. The camera is amazing and I was surprised at how much I could see. There is an iPhone app which you use to see the live video. This product also came with some very nice precision cleaning tools
Bought in order to stare irritatedly at excema in ears.Works a treat. Entirely failed to set it up first three times. You need to run the wand on, find it in your list of WiFi then connect. A tip they didn't mention - you need to turn your mobile data OFF in order for the connection to the wand to work.At first I though the picture wasn't clear, but you just have to get the distance right. I was looking at a fuzzy mess until I drew the wand an eighth of an inch out of my ear and everything came into focus. Alarmingly good quality image then. The idea isn't to jam it in as far as it'll go (ahem). Hold the edge of your ear up and out to make a clear channel down then place the wand in slowly so you can see where the image becomes clear. It comes with some little plastic attachments that appear in the periphery of the image (so you can see where to move them) that can be used to pull out anything you can see. Be warned this is an addictive practice (and can also make you feel a bit dizzy). Luckily the image on screen has a warning indicator to show how far you are from your ear drum. I'm not sure how accurate it is, so don't get carried away.Couple more tips: look up images on Google of ear drums before you start. This prevents you going into a decline wondering what the enormous grey patch in your ear is. Ditto images of excema, wax, otitis externa (and fungal infections in ears, if you're feeling really brave and macabre). Stops you panicking there's an alien infestation in your earhole...Another tip is it seems impossible to work out which way is up or down. You WILL jab yourself in the ear once or twice thinking the way you move the wand is the same way it perceives things. It ain't. Tip : point the wand at some newsprint before starting. Twizzle it round til up is actually up and down is actually down. That helps when poking about. The kit comes with an entirely separate and terrifyingly medieval-looking selection of metal tools. These are separate to the wand and not attachments. Presumably they think that once you've seen the horrors that lurk there, you'll want to go fishing about with a metal spike/spring/shovel (spoiler: they're right. Resist). I've been sticking kirby grips in my ears for 20+ years and even I don't fancy the potential for an A&E wait that a teeny weeny metal sword (wielded without visual guidance) to the ear drum would almost certainly produce...Brilliant tool, well priced and clear. The stuff of my (fairly strange and squeamish) dreams.
One of the best thing I had so far, very easy to use. My Suggestion is to read manual first then start using it. Initially when I receive the product i started using it directly without reading the instruction, so i felt difficult to use and also I thought to return it, but once after reAding the manual it is very easy to use. highly recommended. Thank you amazon
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Fantastic product for the price. It takes a lot of fiddling and moving around to finally get a clear(ish) picture of the ear. I would not be able to do this on myself, when I tried it was just a big blur. It’s quite funny when you see the wax on screen and what actually come, incredible microscope.
Genuinely love this, I investigated an issue with my left ear and took my time to remove the blockage. Make sure you orientate the camera the right way up using the little indentation otherwise it becomes a nightmare to manoeuvre inside your ear. Great product
This is a wonderful product and I love to use it. I've used it to see my children ear. Picture quality is good once you know how to use it. a lot of tools come with it to help ear hygiene.
I wasn’t expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised, easy to use, good price, good quality
After charging the device for a short while. This otoscope was simple to connect to the app. It took a bit of time to get used to it but it is a really impressive bit of kit. This otoscope cleaned my ears ok and I'm sure that once I have used this otoscope more regularly I will get better at it.The attachments are very well made and the whole kit was well packaged. Really useful piece of kit. Superb!!!
WIth the recent difficulty getting a doctors appointment, i brought this item to help check my ears for compressed wax because i have been having difficulty with my ears. The camera is really good 720p, and the light is adequate for the examination. It was really easy to install over wifi after downloading the app you just connect to the wifi network the little box creates (no password needed), however even better is that you can connect straight to the phone if you have a usb type b micro like i have on my galaxy S7. The camera is small enough to insert carefully into the ear and it allows you to look for wax, i'm not too sure if i would use it for more than examination, but it does come with removal tools that attach to the camera and also seperate tools, but it can be a bit disorientating when using so i dont fancy trying to use the camera to remove the wax itself. I am really impressed with the device for the price and think its a really useful tool to have if like me you have concerns over ear wax build up. BTW its really worth watching some youtube videos to familiarise yourself with examining the ear canal before you start.
Opened my otoscope today and after a short charge was simple to connect to the app. It took a little while getting used to it but it was really interesting! Didn't realise ears would be so hairy!! Cleaned my ears ok and I'm sure that with a little practice I will get better at it!!The attachments seem well made and the whole item was well packaged. Really useful piece of kit.
Quite easy to set up but fiddly to use. After persevering I was able to get quite clear images of my eardrums but the focal length is not adjustable so precise positioning is required. The tip of the otoscope has LED lights which get quite hot but not enough to do any harm and the brightness is adjustable. It comes with an assortment of tools for removing wax but I wouldn’t recommend poking around in your ears with them.
Works well. Very simply to start up.However as I have small ears once inside it did have a blurry image
Very easy to assemble and easy to use! Picture is really clear and video, too! Be careful not to push too hard and don’t force the camera. I haven’t used the cleaning kit yet, but they are well made and sturdy.
quick delivery, as described. Thenumber of tools included is quite adequate to use. Nevertheless, my ears were heavily blocked and i still had to go to a doctor to clear this time as i was afraid to use them as i wasnt quite sure how close the ear drum was to the wax. Now that my earcanal is clear i have a clear idea using the camera and i am looking forward to using it once a month or so before it builds up again. it should be good
Excellent 100% worth it
OMG this is so cool, gross but cool, Arrived on time and was in perfect condition and was exactly as advertised
Did manage to get some decent pictures (I won't attach because they are gross!) however the process of setting up the connection was really frustating. The instructions are just really poor, and the URL provided to download the Windows 10 installation does NOT work. I keep getting a 404 errors on my browser. Eventually I got the camera to work on my Android phone, and after that I figured out how to get Windows 10 by googling answers.
Decent product, endoscope can be used with the supplied battery/Wifi pack or via a direct connection to a phone or tablet. The USB adaptor is good and covers all three major ports (USB A, micro and C). The light is bright but the camera is fixed focus so can be difficult to get the correct focal sweet spot. A variable focus would be very useful and the lack of this loses the product 1 star. You can use the software recommended in the instruction with Wifi or other software when connected directly to the phone/tablet. The additional tools are very good quality, solid stainless steel and comes in a compact case. All of the kit can be stored in the supplied case.
Absolutely brilliant and so easy to use compared to others, we'll built and great accessories too.
Great little camera for satisfying your curiosity or confirming suspicions of a waxy ear. The camera is plugged into a dongle which emits its own WiFi that transmits the image to your phone....the connection did drop occasionally though (be sure to have auto-join turned off for your home WiFi connection). For removing wax, I wouldn’t recommend using the tools...the risk of damaging the ear is too high. A syringe with warm water is far safer.
This is brilliant especially if you have children or if you suffer with ear infections etc as it helps you to see what is going on in the ears but also keep an eye on your ears etc. Withy kids they like to poke things in their ears or suffer with ear aches . With this the picture is so clear you can see everything. It's very easy to set up and use aswell. It can be used for lots of different things . It comes in a nice zip case . It is nice and small so it will fit in your pocket or in your bag. It would even be perfect to take on your travels. I still can't believe how good it is and what good value it is . It is very well made and will last for years
I use this product a lot, it’s easy to use, clean and safe. The picture quality is HD so makes it that much better. Considering you’d have to pay £70-£80 to get this done at the doctors it’s great value for money
I love this product and it has helped me to heal my ears as can visually see when it is infected.
My wife had a problem in her left ear for quite some time now and we tried cleaning it using hydrogen peroxide and etc but never managed to get it better. Since we had some extra time in our hands thanks to staying at home, I tried this today and I must admit I am impressed with the result.I must let you know that this is not something you can use on yourself even though you can see the camera on your mobile. I used my Huawei P20 Pro easily via connecting the camera directly to my phone. The USB plug can also turn into a micro USB port and also USB C Type port to be able to connect to your android phone directly. Alternatively the WiFi box that comes with the device enables you to connect to it via WiFi.There are enough set of tools for most of the stuff but it is essential to use it very carefully not to rupture the eardrum. The devise and its accessories also come in a chiq small case which is a plus.I can recommend this one to anyone having problems with cleaning the ear canal.
Ordered yesterday after I detected a problem in my right ear, received today as stated. The camera is much better than described on some reviews. I tried it as soon as I received it. It takes some practice and patience to learn to use it. Unless one is a NET, this should be expected. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Not a brilliant product on the market but does the job. The WiFi connection slows down after few uses.
The things you can see with this tool are both truly fascinating and deeply horrifying. I've had on and off ear problems for my entire life but recently I've noticed I have days where my hearing seems really impaired. I got this so I could see if anything was blocking my ear or I guess anything and let me tell you I did. The picture quality is good but it seems struggle to focus sometimes (the picture can be grainy and blurred). The included tools are useful and if you notice anything that looks like you could remove really help in doing so. Easy to set up and use.
This was such a great buy!!!To give you an idea of that I know what I'm talking about... I'm an architect student who also does photography as a hobby. I use powerful computers and have a camera worth over a grand. For just over £22... this is a steal. I woke up the other day with some dried blood in my ear... made an appointment with my doctor and was told a may have a slight perforation in my ear drum. There was dried blood in my canal but couldn't see much more than that. was recommended that if I did want to clean my ears safely... an otoscope may be an idea so I could see what I was actually trying to get and whether I needed to.This just arrived today and was keen to try it out. Set up to my i-phone in less than a minute... and is incredible. High quality images... tools to clean ears are robust and well designed... easy to use and can't fault it one bit. Comes in a nice case to keep everything together. Very, very pleased with purchase. If you needed a small pencil camera for anything else... could use it for that.Overall... Would highly recommend!! Looks like it should be worth at least twice the price!!
Very good value for money ! With 3 young children, it's great for keeping their ears wax free, but also my youngest child has disabilities, and loves pretending to be a doctor, and the otoscope is the best thing he's ever been allowed to play with !
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I can’t believe how much I needed this.I usually clean my ears by allowing water in my ear during my shower. Then dry it out with cotton ear buds. I know this is not good but it’s what I do.Well since I received this I have to admit my ears were not so clean and needed further attention. How easy it to use?I managed to figure it out. It did eventually connect to my phone.Image could better but ultimately if feel better having such a tool. I just didn’t think something like this existed.
Nice one , i bought it for my nephew who is ENT doctor , he loved it , worked good , thanks
